Throughout this campaign, people have asked why I’m running for school board. These stories are my answer. I asked former students to share a few sentences about their experience in my classroom and their responses were both overwhelming and humbling. There is no endorsement I could receive that means more to me than the words of the students I’ve had the privilege to teach.
